Consultations and Quotes

  1. Consultations are free, by appointment only.

  2. Your quotation is valid for 14 days from the date it is sent to you. If you choose to book after this time, there may be a need to prepare a fresh quotation. 

  3. Mock bridal bouquets can be made if required, but will be made to the same standard as the real bouquets and using the best available materials. As such, they will be charged at the quoted price and must be paid for in advance.

Bookings and Payments

  1. We require a 25% booking fee to secure your booking date, paid via BACS transfer. This booking fee is then subtracted from your final wedding/event bill.

  2. The booking fee is non-refundable, and your date will not be held unless this fee is received.

  3. If for any reason you decide to cancel your wedding/event, the booking fee is non-refundable. If you decide to postpone your wedding/event we will hold your booking fee until your wedding/event goes ahead.

  4. At the time of booking both parties will be bound by these terms and conditions.

  5. Full payment of the price quoted will be required 6 weeks before your wedding/event date. You will receive a reminder email, and payment is accepted by direct payment via BACS transfer. If payment is not received, your flowers will not be ordered and we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund of the booking fee.

  6. The cost of your wedding/event flowers can be spread over the months leading up to your wedding date, please email hello@smallwondersflorals.co.uk for details.

Details and Amendments

  1. Your initial quotation will be provided in writing, by email.

  2. If you wish to make any alterations to the wedding/event flowers we have discussed, these can only be accepted in writing via email to hello@smallwondersflorals.co.uk . Please understand that we work on several projects each month and written requests ensure no mistakes or misunderstanding occurs when it comes to your final list of flower arrangements.

  3. Alterations may require a new quote to be issued, therefore we request the final details of the wedding/event flowers should be made no later than 6 weeks before the wedding/event date, before the balance is settled.

  4. Upon receipt of the final invoice for payment, we will send a final copy of the order. We will ask you to check this carefully, sign, and return one copy to us as confirmation that the order is correct. Please note that no amendments, however slight, after this date will be possible.

  5. On the day of the wedding/event, if there are adverse weather conditions and we (Small Wonders Florals) feel any of the proposed floral arrangements will be a danger to us or others, we will recommend alternatives. However, the decision of the client is final, and if it is decided to go ahead, Small Wonders Florals will not be responsible for any breakage, damage or injury of any kind.

Delivery and Setup

  1. We will not be held responsible for any injuries or damages sustained as a result of broken glass, materials, or natural dyes that may be used for you. Liability is limited to the supply of goods only. No responsibility will be accepted for any consequential loss.

  2. Hired equipment (vases, candles and other props) remain the property of Small Wonders Florals at all times. In case of breakage, damage or loss, the charge will be the current purchase price or value to be paid by the client. It is the responsibility of the client to reclaim these costs from the venue if the venue was at fault. 

  3. Collection of hired items will be charged for within delivery costs unless stated otherwise.

  4. Deliveries are charged at 45p per mile. Where set up and collection from the venue is required this will be charged at an agreed rate per hour.

  5. When setting up wedding/event flowers, Small Wonders Florals reserve the right to make minor adjustments that we feel will benefit the customer and images taken of the event. Any changes will be made in the best interest of the client.

  6. All venue restrictions need to be communicated to Small Wonders Florals in writing, at least 4 weeks prior to the wedding/event. Small Wonders Florals will not be held responsible for any work not completed or carried out due to restricted access to the venue by venue staff.

  7. Liability Insurances are available on request.

  8. You are welcome to take any flowers away after the wedding/event but only those containers which were sold to you and not hired to you. Please agree the removal of flowers with Small Wonders Florals before the event.

Cancellations and Refunds

  1. In the unfortunate event of cancellation or postponement by the client no less than 6 weeks before the delivery date, then we will keep your non-refundable deposit to cover consultation and administrative costs. Please notify us by email of your request to cancel or postpone your booking on hello@smallwondersflorals.co.uk 

  2. Cancellations or postponements within 6 weeks prior to the delivery date, when the full minimum payment will have to be made, will be subject to only 50% of the total fee being refunded. If we have already ordered the flowers for the wedding/event and they are unable to be cancelled, the client will be liable to pay these costs.

  3. There will be no refunds for cancellations within 14 days of the wedding/event date.

  4. In the unlikely event that we (Small Wonders Florals) need to cancel your booking due to unavoidable circumstances (fire, natural disaster, death, serious illness, family tragedy) we will make every effort to secure an alternative Florist to fulfil the wedding/event brief. If this is not possible, all money paid will be refunded to the client.  We are responsible only for monies paid, and not for other costs incurred as a result of the inconvenience.

  5. If we (Small Wonders Florals) take the decision to cancel the wedding/event as a result of experiencing inappropriate or abusive behaviour from the client, you will not be entitled to a refund.

  6. Postponement or cancellation due to Covid-19: We take the health and safety of us and our clients very seriously. In the event that your wedding needs to be postponed due to government restrictions, you will be able to transfer your booking fee to a new date, providing we have no other weddings booked on your new proposed date. If your flowers and materials have already been ordered, received and processed you will be liable for this cost and the labour provided, and we will not be able to refund your payment. Please bear in mind if you are postponing your wedding, flower availability will vary from season to season.

Additional Terms and Information

  1. Fresh flowers are a living product and are dependent on weather conditions, stringent quality checks, and influences beyond our control. We do not guarantee specific flower varieties as we work with a seasonal product. We will endeavour as much as possible to stick to your preferred flowers, and the flowers we discuss in your consultation. However, if the quality is poor, or we are unable to source these, we reserve the right to source a suitable alternative flower. We hope that you trust our judgment to make any substitutions and know that it is in your best interests for us to do so.

  2. We use dried flowers that are naturally dried, without chemicals, preservatives or dyes, As such, there will be natural variations in colour, and may be subject to colour fading over time. In order to keep your dried flowers looking their best, we recommended storing them in a cool, dry environment, out of direct sunlight,

  3. Any mock bouquets made for you, with any designs, sketches, and photographs of our work we allow you to view and/or take away with you subject to copyright laws (The Copyright, Designs, and Patents Act 1988), and therefore you are not permitted to show them to, or allow them to be copied or used by any other florist or floral designer without the express permission of Small Wonders Florals. 

  4. Small Wonders Florals reserves the right to be the sole florist for your wedding/event to ensure a consistency of floral design and quality across the duration of your event,

  5. When sharing images of floral designs created by Small Wonders Florals on social media we require to be credited for the work. All social media handles are @smallwondersflorals

  6. Small Wonders Florals reserves the right to take photographs and videos of the venue, flowers and setting prior to the wedding/event in order to be used in a promotional capacity. Please note that we may also use any photos we acquire whether taken by ourselves or others on our portfolio, website, Facebook page, Instagram, blog, or any other social media platforms. All credits will be given to the relevant photographer.

  7. In the rare event that flower prices increase drastically between the time of your quote and the day of the event, we will notify you accordingly. You will have the option to pay the increase in supply costs, or receive a refund of monies paid thus far, minus the cost of any work already carried out. 

  8. Small Wonders Florals is responsible for delivering flowers of a high quality and every effort will be made to ensure the flowers are delivered of the best quality, and are well hydrated. Once flowers have been delivered, Small Wonders Florals takes no responsibility thereafter in regards to the quality of flowers. To avoid wilting, we advise all flowers are kept somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight, with access to cold, clean water.
